I was so excited to read this book, but I was greatly disappointed with the whole thing. First of all, the book needs editing. There are typos sprinkled throughout the book, but even more annoying than the typos are the recaps of what has taken place in the book. It is almost as if the author planned to chop the story up into several smaller stories, but then smashed it altogether without editing it. I cannot count how many times the author retold or revisited the same points or events. It was annoying for the author to assume that we needed to be reminded of what we had read about earlier in the book.Second of all, there needs to be a great deal more time spent with the two lovers and much less time spent getting to know the driven young lady. We hear about her love of running, her parents, her need to succeed, her friends, and countless other details for the first 44 percent of the book with only a handful of paragraphs were the sexy Remi is even discussed.
After only three brief encounters Girard is in love, suddenly knows Madison heart and soul and the author begins stating how far Madison and Girard have come in their relationship. The relationship needed more development, details, conversations and exploring. The erotic elements were reasonably well written, but for being marketed as an erotic romance, I was disappointed and I wanted much more than the author delivered.
Overall, I would say the book was disjointed and disappointing. If you are interested in reading it as an erotic romance, I would skip the entire first half and begin the book at 47 percent. A woman coming into her own would be a better way to market this book, but I still say the relationship needs more developing to reach the conclusion the author chose for Madison and Girard.

I could not put it down! I spent all of my time reading expect for work hr's never a dull minut
I thought it was worth the read....especially if you like romance. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This book was obviously written by a very inexperienced writer. Not enough substance. Not in the least bit believable. She tried for the BDSM story but missed the mark entirely. You need to truly understand a subject before writing about it. A bit more research on the subject would have helped but would not have saved this story. The 2 star rating is very generous but felt I needed to give the writer something for the effort. Would definitely not recommend this book to anyone!
I thought the story was ok. Nothing to exciting. Would I read it again? No, kind of unbelievable but I guess that is why it is called fiction.
it took too long for the main characters to get together about 50% read, story keep repeating its self didn't care for it. Sorry Madison and Girad.
This book left me way disappointed, each page pretty much repeated the same thing just said in a different way, you could have compiled the book into not even a full chapter without all of the fillers honestly..
I am not sure what to say about this book. I read it all and I liked the story idea. I loved how Girard saved Madison on the subway. I thought that was awesome and they kind of had a connection. But the book moved kind of slow and kept repeating and rehashing. It was a little too much. I don't know if there will be another book, but I will read it. I would love to read about what happens next for Girard and Madison. Just not so much repeating and rehashing. Just a natural flow.
